Located right behind the nature center, the cascades are easy to visit, and you can even stand underneath them if you wish. This family-friendly waterfall features a popular swimming hole with a pool beneath the cascades that offers a refreshing place to cool off during the summer months. If you cross the suspension bridge there is a .9 mile trail to the Fall Creek Falls gorge overlook.(Easy hike)

What to Expect: There is a simple staircase leading down to get to the swimming hole—you won’t have to work very hard for the scenic reward here . Before you know it, you will be at the end of the stairs, and you only have to climb down a couple of rocks to arrive at the swimming area. There are plenty of places to rest on the smooth rocks at the base of the waterfall—you can dip your feet in, climb the rocks, or just lie in the sun with this gorgeous backdrop. Around the corner you can see the top of Cane Creek Falls.
